Misty was rushed back to the vets early hours this morning,with a suspected pup stuck,we noticed a water bag & waited to see if a pup was born,no pup was produced so she is in the vets at the moment,she will have to be scanned or xrayed to see if there are any there & if there is she will have a c section.we have the pups at home with us & feeding them ourselves untill their mom returns later.
Misty is having a c section at this moment,there is a pup in there but untill he opens her up dont know if there is more this will be Mistys last litter & will be spayed once she is back to normal,i feel that once a bitch has problems their breeding days are over,i wouldnt put her through this again.Harley is looking after his grandkids while Misty is at the vets,he has pooped them & cleaned them.
We have been contacted from the vets,Misty has had the op & is fine up & licking her new baby,there was a pup stuck in the birth canal,we are lucky it has survived,we dont as yet know sex & colour untill we pick misty up later as she is recovering,we are just so happy all went well with Misty & even happier we have another baby,will update again later & thankyou to everyone,its been a tearfull day here.

After a very long night & day Misty gave birth to 1 girl & 1 boy.
The little girl was born at 1.00pm after a few hours trying to give birth to the chunky monkey.She was born feet first
The little boy was born at 5.50pm after another struggle & a trip to the vets,Misty finally gave birth to him outside just as we got back from the vets for an injection of Oxytocin,she was taking too long giving birth,i had to just grab him & run inside leaving poor misty outside wondering what happened,dont worry my hubby delt with her.not sure which way the boy was born as it happened so fast,the car ride set her off also
Both are big chunky pups.
The girl seems more blue than the boy,he has alot of fawn in his coat,both may be blue brindle will just have to see.they both have white markings also.

New pics added of Ty below,he is doin very well in his new home except he is very naughty,so far ate all the plants & takes pride in destroying any newspaper/mags & whatever he can get hold off,Ty gets on well with Jess who keeps him in order,Stan is fine with him as long as Ty doesnt upset him too much,then Stan puts him in his place,ty knows when the boss has spoken,Ty will be joining a puppy group once he has had his 2nd injection.Thankyou Yvonne for the update

Jake is now on his way back to Scotland,with his new owners Kevin & Michelle,he will have an excellent forever home with the best couple anyone could wish for,oppsee not forgetting his new girlfriend Tara who will have her work cut out keeping this little lad occupied.
Gypsy is abit lost at the moment,she keep trying to find him but she will soon settle without both Trooper/Ty & Jake/Dipper.

Gypsy & Jake have been for their first injection,no whimpering they are so brave only cuz they were too interested in the chew bone lol.Gypsy has also been microchipped.
Jake is going to his new home 2m,Good luck the Kev & Michelle for thier long journey down from Scotland to Birmingham,Will get some last pics today of them together.

Trooper has now gone to his new home with Yvonne & family,its gone very quiet here,gypsy & Jake are doing great & get along fine together,we all know now who was the naughty pup lol,but we miss him loads.They may change his name so will update once i have info on how he is doing & what he is named.

Its time for the pups to be split,they are constantly fighting now,Gypsy & Trooper are the worst,they get a bit carried away,Jake is a little darling,tries to keep out thier way & just want his own space bless him.
Gypsy & Trooper are pigs with the food,Jake just sits & eats his nicely the other 2 have learned not to take Jakes food off him,while waiting for Jake to finish they beat their dishes up lol.Misty,Ellie & Stella just avoid the pups now especially when they have a mad hour,Harley has his work cut out with these 3,they only listen to him when he really barks at them otherwise they push their luck with him also.but other than that lol,they are great & love thier cuddles.they can be nice sometimes :-)

Trooper has now had a deposit placed on him by a lovely family,who have owned staffords for 25 years,we know he will have an excellent life with Yvonne & family & their two other SBTs.He will goto his new home 20/06/09.

Pups well what can i say they are terrible monsters atm,fighting none stop lol.they are eating like pigs,they are on 4 meals of dryfood as giving them too much goats milk & 2 meals of rice pud has gave them the poops yak.Jake will be going to his new home 25/06/09 & we have a viewing on Trooper tomorrow,if Trooper is not what the lady(Yvonne) is looking for,we have another booked for Saturday (Susie).
Trooper seems to be the trouble maker lately only becuz he wants all the attention,Jake is quieting down to what he was & Gypsy is very good girl (so far).will update once veiwing has taken place.

Kc papers have arrived & pedigree papers,Pups have finished their 2nd course of worming,they are now not feeding of mom Misty as she doesnt want to anymore,we have now started exercising Misty & she is loving every min of it.Pups are on 4 meals aday,2 rice pud & 2 dryfood mixed with Raw mince meat.they have a nice drink of goats milk after each meal.they are very active now not giving me 5 mins peace lol.

New pics added of pups at 5 weeks,they have started their 2nd worming course,the weight gain is great & all are doing fine,Jake is the bully so far he can get abit excited at times lol & gets annoyed if the other 2 are getting attention,Gypsy very laid back has her moments loves the cuddles,Trooper is a happy chappie,he gets so excited with the kids,he gets bullied alot but can hold his own,loves his cuddles aswell,Grandad Harley has just started to correct them when they start to fight,Misty we have cut her down now to feeding the pups morning & evening only,they are on 4 meals aday can be very picky at times so we are now trying them on Raw minced meat with dry,will see how they go on this ?.

Confirmed kennel names throu email - Amandastaff Gypsy Queen (Gypsy)Popcorn - Amandastaff Brander Jake(Jake) Dipper - Amandastaff Jack Frost(Trooper) very disappionted on his name,after the email i phoned the kennel club hoping to change it,Trooper is a kennel name Affix so this is why we were turned down,i asked if i could change the name but the papers are on the way back,so this little boy is now named after his daddy Jacko.

New pics added of Pups at 4 weeks,all are doing fine & gaining weight,all feel their feet now & are on the go.Misty just feeds them & leaves them,they are all getting along great with the other dogs,Misty has excepted the girls back & Stella especially loves the babies.

Pups are doing great they are having 2 meals of rice pudding,morning & evening,we will start them on some puppy meat 2m,as it was a gorgeous day today we took advantage & let the pups outside,they were abit timid at first but didnt take Dipper especially to get over the nerviousness,Popcorn followed suit but Trooper still alittle shy,Ellie & Stella loved them,stella wanted so much for them to run after her lol,alittle early for that yet & she let them try & suckle off her,Ellie is always abit distant from the pups if they aint hers,she wouldnt want to cause a conflict between her & Misty,but still had a sniff & wagged her tail bless her.They all watched them closely outside & Rambo layed watching them from the fence.

New pics added of pups at 3 weeks,they are doing great,just stating to move around but still very lazy,they have just has thier first meal of Rice Pudding & they loved it,especialy Dipper the greedy boy lol.Misty is doing great also,she is a very contented Mother.

Pups have finished their first course of worming next will be at 5 weeks,Misty is also on worming tabs from the vets.Pups are slowly starting to get around,not much they are just too lazy.

Pups are currently having their first worming over the next 3 days with panacur paste,we have abit of juddering & gagging going on but taking it quite well,Dipper like to growl & howl if you do it with him,Trooper has a go at barking at you while trying to bite lol,Popcorn is just lazy just eats & sleeps,she likes her cuddles & licking you.all pups are trying to pull themselves onto paper to releive themselves,they are almost on their feet but its a little early yet.

Misty & pups have visited the vets again today,Misty is just fine & well,her stitches have healed up great
The pups are doing great aswell all fit & healthy,the vet was quite shocked at the size they have grown & praised Misty for being a brilliant mom.no need for another visit now.the vets gave them all the thumbs up.

Pups are now 1 week oh sorry except Little trooper who is 1 week 2m,they are doing just great,putting loads of weight on.Trooper is the moaner so far,he sounds like a baby screaming sometimes lol,Dipper he just loves his food & makes sure he is first to grab the teat,he is very docile & just lounges on his back after he has had his fill.Popcorn is very laid back also,she doesnt moan she just feeds & sleeps.The boys have alot of Fawn in their coats like their mom,Trooper also seems to have a reddish tint to his coat on his head,be interesting to see how the colour turns,all have blue undercoat & mask
Misty is doing great,she is loving being the mother again & very contented with them.She has to return to the vets soon just for a check up pups will be taken also for another check.
